Unspoiled Lombok Tour to let  you know the culture, nature and underwater world of Lombok. You will stay on an exotic island and meet the traditional Sasak people of North and East Lombok and experience their traditional food and dance. You walk through beautiful nature and watch the making of local crafts like weavings and pottery.

Trip Itinerary: 

Day 1: Arrival in Lombok – Senaru

After arrival on Lombok you will be transferred to Senaru. You will stop to feed the hungry monkeys who are waiting for you! You continue your journey along the traditional north coast of Lombok. Many still follow the ancient Wetu Telu religion, which connects aspects from both Islam and animism. As soon as you drive through the mountains the landscape changes from dry to lush-green. From the cozy hotel you have great views on the impressive Rinjani volcano.

Day 2: Senaru Panorama walk – Labuan Pandan

A project from the New Zealand government trained local women to be a guide. One of them will guide us on this easy and interesting walk. You will have some great views while walking along local trails through bamboo forest towards an open landscape of rice terraces. On the way you will visit traditional villages and you learn more about the colorful life of the Sasak people. After the hike you continue to Labuan Pandan. Here you will be welcomed by a local family who will be your host. They will cook you a delicious dinner and you learn all about life in a kampung.

Day 3: Snorkeling Labuan Pandan – Tetebatu Village 

Today you will visit a beautiful coral island not far from shore, to spend some time enjoying the underwater world. Complete with a tasteful lunch makes it a relaxing trip. Back to the main land and on to Tetebatu. You will visit the traditional village of Limbunan. In the heart of the village people still live according to Sasak traditions. All houses in the center are made of bamboo. It’s like going back in time! You spend the night in Tetebatu, a small village on the other side of the sacred Rinjani volcano, situated at about 800m above sea level.

Day 4: Walk Lendang Nangka- Pringgasela Village- Dance Lenek – Masbagik Pottery Center – Tetebatu

To day we trek through rice-paddies and tobacco fields towards Pringgasela, a small village with ancient weaving traditions. During a walk through the village you will see how they weave the songkets by hand. A delicious traditional Sasak meal will be prepared for you. After lunch you drive to Lenek, where you will see a traditional dance performance. Don’t be surprised to see the entire village leave their homes to welcome you! On the way back to Tetebatu, you will visit Masbagik where they still make pottery in a traditional way.

Day 5: Waterfall Jeruk Manis – Narmada Park – Bangsal Habor – Gili Meno 

In the morning you will walk to a waterfall through beautiful bamboo forests and possibly see the local black monkeys. On the way to Mataram we visit Narmada, an ancient water palace. We drive you to Bangsal where you will cross the ocean by boat to Gili Meno. Gili Meno is the most beautiful of the three bounty islands that are lying off shore just northwest of Lombok. This is an ideal place to relax, swim or snorkel. The place is famous for its miraculous sunsets.

Day 8: Transfer Out and the end of Program

After breakfast at hotel, check out and transfer to bangsal with boat from hotel, arrival in bangsal harbor then your driver is waiting for transfer you to the Airpor and the end of progra.
